PROFILE

Dr. Essien Udo is an experienced educationist who has groomed many in several schools before starting out with University of Uyo in 2014.

He holds a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Integrated Science Education and a Master of Science (MSc) in Chemistry.

In his years of service, He has been appointed Vice Principal, Secondary School Aka Offot Uyo, Principal Science Master Senior Science College Abak, Coordinator of Science/Jets Activities in Mobil Pegasus Schools, Chairman Writing Team of STAN Basic Science Series etc. Positions he held and meritoriously took a bow.

His excellence in service delivery, has brought forth awards such as Best Science Teacher in Nigeria for Science Teachers Association of Nigeria (STAN), Award of Excellence Performance in STAN activities In Akwa Ibom state and several others.

He holds membership in several professional bodies such as Fellow Science Teachers Association of Nigeria (FSTAN), Member Mathematics Association of Nigeria(MAN), Member Chemical Society of Nigeria etc.

His indepth research in Science Education with particular interest in Integrated Science has culminated into several Journal Articles, Books, Book Chapters, Exhibitions and Conference. In this personal space of his, open access will be granted to majority of his works.

He is devout christian, married and blessed with beautiful children
